Teknikkvinnor

Today, close to 27,000 Teknikkvinnor gather virtually in the group named after them on Facebook. Its members work specifically with tech, at a technology driven organization, study technology, or want to. You who self-identify as woman or non-binary are very welcome to join the group. Teknikkvinnor´s local networks

In late 2018 we launched our Local Networks to allow for more physical meetings, with the same broad base as our digital networks. We are now present in almost every major region of the country, from Luleå up north, Gothenburg to the west and Stockholm in the east. Keep an eye out for upcoming southern networks.

Teknikkvinnor For managers

Teknikkvinnor for Managers is a collaborative effort between Teknikkvinnor and Unionen Chef. This manegerial network serves as a complement to the larger Teknikkvinnor network, and is directed at people identifying as women or non-binary while also working as managers in the tech industry. It is free to join and in order to join one is not required to be a member of Unionen Chef.

The purpose of Teknikkvinnor for Managers is to create a platform within Teknikkvinnor dedicated to managers and executives - professions which can be both challenging and often times lonely. We want more Teknikkvinnor-managers to thrive in their roles, and through that accept more responsibilities and bigger challenges. These people also serve as important role models to other Teknikkvinnor.

Short summary of the network:

• Teknikkvinnor for Managers will initially be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmoe. We will at first hold two meetups per city during autumn 2018 to spring 2019 (more information available to participants).

• We have a separate Facebook group for managers, where applicants will be verified via CV or their LinkedIn profile. This is done in order to make sure that only applicants who meet the criteria can join. You can find the group HERE.

• Joining and remaining a member is completely free of charge.

Who can join?

All who meet the following three requirements are welcome to join Teknikkvinnor for Managers:

• You identify as a woman or non-binary.

• You work in tech in some way or another.

• You have managerial responsibilities relating to salaries and personnel.
